How Do Seasonal Allergy Treatments Work?
Before moving forward with treatment, Dr. Schodroski will first perform a physical exam and conduct allergen tests (such as skin patch testing or blood work) to isolate the specific cause of your symptoms. There are many possible triggers of seasonal allergies, including mold, grass, pollen, and ragweed. Once the cause has been determined, our office will recommend the appropriate decongestant, antihistamine, nasal spray, or injection to lessen your symptoms.
