Our office is equipped to provide a selection of services for LGBTQ+ patients in St. Louis, MO, including HIV PrEP, hormone maintenance, STD testing, and primary care. We know how difficult it can be to find the right provider for your needs, so we invite you to reach out to our office today to schedule a consultation and learn more about our LGBTQ+ services.

How Do LGBTQ+ Services Work?

The details of your visit will depend on which treatments are needed. The Health & Wellness Center offers the following services for LGBTQ+ patients:

  • HIV PrEP care: Short for pre-exposure prophylaxis, PrEP is a medication designed to prevent HIV in individuals who are HIV-negative and at risk of the disease. PrEP may be offered as a pill or an injection.
  • Hormone maintenance therapy: For patients who have undergone gender-affirming hormone therapy, our office offers hormone maintenance to keep your hormones in balance and adjust for biological changes that may occur as a result of aging or other factors.
  • STD testing: Our providers can perform a variety of tests to diagnose different sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV, hepatitis C, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and others.
  • Primary care services: Dr. Schodroski and our team work closely with all patients to create custom-tailored health plans to treat infectious diseases, manage chronic conditions, and keep you feeling your best.

Very nice staff!!! The office energy is amazing from the provider to the staff. The restroom and exam rooms were clean. It really was the total package with healthcare there.

For years I have struggled with losing weight. Last year, I quit smoking and gained 35 lbs. No matter what I did I could not lose this weight. I started going to The Health & Wellnesa Center on Feb. Since then, I have lost 40 lbs and still losing. I over half way to my goal weight that I set when I started. I feel at this time that I will hit my goal weight and possibly more in another couple months on thier program. Thank you to everyone at The Health and Wellness Center. You have been very supportive and encouraging.
